J.C. Hutchins is a writer, most often known for the podcast novel trilogy 7th Son, which has, according to his site, "over 40,000 listeners worldwide and over 2,000,000 downloads."[1] It was intended to launch as a podcast novel and then go on to be published. Book One: Descent was published on October 27, 2009 to very positive reviews. According to his site the book is the most popular podcast novel series in history [2]

J.C. Hutchins has written for: The Palm Beach Post, the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Lexington Herald-Leader (Ky.), and Wizard: The Comics Magazine.[2] Hutchins is also the co-author of Personal Effects: Dark Art released by SMP Griffin in June 2009.

The New York Times ran a story about podcast novels which addressed Hutchins.[3]

Commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by The Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Steven Beshear in 2010.[4]
